SPRING seems to have already sprung in Droitwich, more than three months early.
Returning home after a weekend trip away, Linda Bynion of Showell Green, noticed an unexpected floral treat blooming in her garden.
Two daffodils - a popular springtime flower - had come out in all their golden glory, much to the surpise of Mrs Bynion and her husband.
The 63-year-old said: "This is the first time they have been out this early. I was surprised that it had actually flowered.
"They are left in all year round, but now I think they do not know what the seasons are. It has been quite mild for the time of year."
But the Droitwich resident is not complaining and says she enjoys seeing the daffs in her front garden.
"It brightens your day when you walk outside," said Mrs Bynion, who added they also still have roses in flower.
According to the Met Office, meteorological Spring time begins on March 1 2016.
