A DRINK driver stopped last night by patrol officers was also on drugs as police continue their festive campaign to combat the issue.
Two drivers have been arrested overnight for failing roadside drugs tests for cannabis by West Mercia Police’s Operation Patrol Unit which is responsible for roads policing in Worcestershire.
One driver was arrested in Worcester and the other in Kidderminster.
The driver who was arrested in Kidderminster was also a drink driver, blowing 47mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the legal limit of the 35mcg.
