A WORCESTER solicitor is gearing up for the Hearts First Bike Ride.
Rob Sherrey, aged 35, is taking part in a challenging 45-mile route.
Mr Sherrey, of Holt Heath, near Worcester, who works at the city's March and Edwards Solicitors, is a keen cyclist and is looking forward to putting himself through his paces to complete the route in under three hours.
He said: "When I heard about the bike ride my firm encouraged me to sign up as they know I love a challenge.
"With heart disease being the UK's biggest killer and personally knowing people who have been affected by it, I, with the support of my employers, am keen to raise as much as we can in sponsorship for the British Heart Foundation.
"I am really looking forward to taking part and helping this worthwhile cause."
