THE forthcoming Johnny Cash concert in Worcester has sold out - but the Worcester News has two tickets to give away.

When Clive John takes to the stage at Worcester's Swan Theatre on Sunday, May 27, the charismatic Man in Black will hold sway over the audience.

Clive is performing a rousing tribute to the late, great American singer Johnny Cash.

The show has sold out but the Worcester News has a pair of tickets - along with three Johnny Cash CDs - to give away to lucky readers.

The tribute show is being promoted by John Banner, who says as soon as he heard Mr John, who is a well known solo singer throughout Worcestershire, he knew he'd seen something special.

"I saw Clive do his tribute to Johnny at the Marr's Bar. It brought back memories of a televised concert I watched back in the 1970s. The atmosphere was better than Elton John's concert at New Road.

"I knew straight away he had something special and that it was good enough to go on a nationwide tour."

He hopes that this show at the Swan will lead to exactly that.

To be in with a chance of winning the two tickets and a copy of The Legend Of Johnny Cash - Volume 2, answer the following question: What was the name of Cash's second wife?

To enter e-mail lm@worcesternews.co.uk or send the answer to Lauren Murray, Worcester News Editorial, Berrows House, Hylton Road, Worcester, WR2 5JX by Thursday, May 22. Two runners up will win copies of The Legend Of Johnny Cash - Volume 2, released next week.
