A COMMUNITY carol concert in Bromsgrove is set to be hosted by a church in the town for the first time.
The Community Christmas Carol Concert for Bromsgrove District has a new-look service set to take place in St John's Church.
Chairman of Bromsgrove District Council, Cllr Caroline Spencer will host the event, which is run in partnership between the district council and Bromsgrove Churches Together
Cllr Spencer said: “I’m delighted to announce this year’s expanded and improved Community Christmas Carol Concert, with Churches Together at St John’s Church.
“I’m looking forward to hosting this concert out in the community after many years at the Council House, and I’d like to invite everyone to join us and get into the Christmas spirit.”
At the festive event there will be performances by Finstall First School choir and speeches from representatives of Libby Mae’s Little Angels and The Basement Project, which are the Chairman’s charities.
The concert takes place on Wednesday, December 16 at 6.30pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
