A WORCESTERSHIRE school will be decked in fairy lights and lanterns for a special event to herald Christmas.
An Evening of Light is being held at Abberley Hall School at Great Witley, on Monday December 7 and all members of the community are invited to go along.
“This will be a magical family evening of carols, lanterns, refreshments and festive merriment,” said Victoria Beswick, of Abberley Hall.
“We hope as many local people will join us for the start of our Christmas celebrations and we hope Santa may make an appearance too,” she added.
The evening’s entertainment starts at 6pm in the chapel courtyard, which will be decorated with ornate lanterns decorated by the children and carols will be sung by the choir around the Christmas tree.
Afterwards everyone is invited to enjoy some warming mulled wine and mince pies by the open fire in the front hall of the school.
