A TEENAGE cyclist who suffered serious head injuries when she was hit by a car in Worcester is now in a "stable condition", according to police.
The 16-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital following the crash in Tolladine Road on Friday, November 13.
Two Midlands Air Ambulance helicopters landed at Hollymount School and paramedics immobilised the teenager using a neck collar and spinal board before flying her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The crash took place at the junction of Tolladine Road and Holly Mount Road and involved a grey Nissan NV200 and a grey Peugeot Expert E7.
West Midlands Police have now launched an appeal urging any witnesses to come forward.
