A man was robbed as he was walking along a Worcester canal towpath.
The victim was on the towpath near Shrub Hill retail park when a man threatened him and demanded money from him just before 1.50pm on Monday, November 30.
The victim was unharmed but handed over a small amount of cash.
Sergeant Carl Jones, of West Mercia police, said: "After enquiries were made of a witness, a man was arrested nearby at around 2.15pm.
"Could anyone with any additional information about the offence please contact us on 101."
A 42-year-old man has been charged with robbery.
