79 motorists stopped in police crackdown on drink driving
POLICE stopped 79 motorists in a 24-hour period as part of a crackdown on drink driving this festive season.
Sixty-six of the drivers, who were stopped by West Mercia Police between 7am on Wednesday (December 2) and 7am on Thursday (December 3), were breathalysed.
The operation led to one arrest.
