A VISIT to Croome Court near Pershore this Christmas season will "get you into the festive spirit".

From carol concerts, a festive market, storytelling and a Santa's grotto to roaring log fires, craft workshops and a family trail around the park, the National Trust site is offering of a "wealth of celebrations" this Christmas.

Becky Wilks, Croome’s event officer, said: “Our Christmas trail is especially fun this year as we have its rounded off with a Father Christmas sleigh that families can climb into and take their own photos as a memento of their day at Croome.

“Our jolly Father Christmas is always popular with families and as you don’t need to book you can make it a great way to round off your visit to Croome.”

A carol concert at Croome featuring performances by The Hill Singers will take place on Saturday, December 19.

Meanwhile children can complete the wintry parkland family trail every weekend from Saturday (December 5) to Sunday, December 13, and then daily from Saturday, December 19, to Monday, January 4, form 10am to 3pm.

Father Christmas will also be present in his grotto every weekend Saturday (December 5) until Sunday, December 20, from midday to 3pm and festive storytelling will take place in the Long Gallery on Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 20, at 1pm and 2pm.
