Hanbury Road and Gallow's Green in Droitwich have now reopened.
The roads were closed after a man suffered serious head injuries following a crash between a car and a pedestrian.
The man believed to be in his 50s was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after the crash in Droitwich this evening.
The incident took place at around 4.22pm on the Hanbury Road, close to the Eagle and Sun pub.
A spokesman from West Mercia Police said: "Emergency services were called just before 4.25pm to reports of a collision between a silver Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian on the Hanbury Road in Droitwich.
"West Midlands Ambulance Service was in attendance and the man in his 50s was believed to have suffered serious head injures and has been taken to the QE."
An ambulance, rapid response paramedic, a paramedic officer and the Air Ambulance crew from Strensham in a rapid response vehicle went to the scene.
