A TEAM of helpful youngsters have lent a hand to clean up churches around Droitwich.
Children and staff from Cutnall Green First School helped to tidy the grounds of St Augustine's Church, leaving it sparklingly clean for the run up to Christmas.
Nigel Byard, team rector at Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: "The second maintenance day was a great success and we all thoroughly enjoyed mending and cleaning things and eating many bacon sarnies."
The next clean up event will take place on Saturday, December 5 from 10am to 12.30pm at St Peter's Church.
