FIRE crews in Worcestershire faced a busy night last night and into this morning.

A house fire was put out using three hose reels at Henwick Avenue, St John’s, Worcester following a call at 9.47pm last night. Fire engines from both Worcester and Droitwich attended.

Crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service also had to attend smoke in house in Kington caused by tea light on night storage heater (the property had to be ventilated) at 5.34am.

Later they tackled a small fire at industrial premises at Moons Moat North in Redditch after a call at 6.54am this morning.
