MALVERN musician Sam Isaac is set perform a live set on Radio 2.

Isaac, aged 21, will be playing three tracks when he features on Janice Long's show on Sunday, May 20.

Artists set to do future sessions include the Manic Street Preachers and Jesse Malin.

Isaac, who moved to East London in 2005, has self-released two mini albums, including Sticker, Star and Tape in January 2007.

The record received glowing reviews and national radio play on Radio 1, Radio 2 and XFM.

Influenced by Ed Harcourt, Liam Frost and Bright Eyes, Isaac's epic acoustic songs are backed by piano, cello and sometimes a full band and he has a reputation for playing anywhere, from dedicated venues to fans' front rooms.

He recently released a split 10in single with Upton-upon-Severn singer/songwriter Luke Leighfield.
