A TWO-minute silence is being held by West Mercia Constabulary today to pay their respects to a murdered colleague.
The silence will begin at 11.30am to coincide with PC Ricky Gray's funeral.
PC Gray was shot and killed responding to an incident in Shrewsbury on Sunday, May 6.
Chief Constable Paul West said: "The last two weeks have been a traumatic time for PC Gray's family and for West Mercia Constabulary.
"Ricky's funeral will provide an opportunity for many of his closest friends and colleagues to pay their respects to a dedicated and committed officer and a very fine man."
