Tomorrow, some of the sleekest and newest models of cars around will be in town for the first ever Worcester Motor Show.
The High Street, CrownGate and Cathedral Plaza will showcase cars and anyone interested in seeing, trying out and buying a new car can find out all the information they need from local dealerships.
Glamour models, 4x4s, hot hatches and economical runarounds will all be on show and the head of a city organisation who came up with the idea says she hopes the event will be a huge success.
Georgia Smith of VisitWorcester - an amalgamation of the former Worcester City Centre Forum and Worcester City Council's tourism department - took up her position at the beginning of March.
She wanted to make sure that in her new role she was able to promote the Faithful City's true potential and encourage more visitors to Worcester.
"The idea for the organisation is that it should manage the city centre and promote Worcester as a destination for people to come to. Part of doing that is putting on lots of events.
"This is the first of the new VisitWorcester events and we are very excited about it."
The motor show is free, will run from 9am until 5pm and Worcester's new mayor, councillor Stephen Inman, will perform the official opening at 10.30am at the Guildhall.
The day is a joint effort between VisitWorcester and the Worcester News, whose events manager Sara Matthews said: "We have really enjoyed working with VisitWorcester and hope it will be the first of many joint events."
"On the day there will also be a Worcester News stand where visitors can come and pick up some goodie bags which will be packed with car associated gifts."

co.uk/newspaperevents The motor show idea was something that Georgia Smith knew had been done very successfully in other parts of the country and was keen to try it in Worccester.
She said: "Dealerships do ask us from time-to-time if they can bring vehicles into the city centre.
"So rather than doing just one at a time, this is an opportunity for them to do it all together.
"I wrote to all the local businesses and no one said it was a bad idea.
"They are really pleased that it will bring more visitors and customers into the very centre of Worcester."
The event has been designed for the whole family and children will also be able to take part in a special quiz to keep them entertained.
Miss Smith added: "We are trying to make sure there is a good reason to come to Worcester on a regular basis."
It is hoped that the motor show will become an annual event and VisitWorcester has many more events planned for the coming year, including an Italian market in August, and then a French market in October.
