MORE volunteers are needed to help at the County Museum.
A special meet and greet' day will take place at the Worcestershire County Council-run museum in Hartlebury Castle from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, June 3.
Any would-be helpers will get the chance to talk to museum staff and existing volunteers about the role they play.
Collections officer David Kendrick said: "Volunteers are essential to all museums and here at the County Museum we are looking for new team members to play a part in all aspects of museum life.
"We are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible and welcoming them into a forward-looking organisation with a great past and an even better future."
Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including guiding visitors around the state rooms and galleries and being costumed interpreters in the popular period room settings.
The County Museum is home to the largest collection of historical objects in Worcestershire, ranging from prehistoric mammoth bones to 1970s fright wigs.
Other attractions include the state rooms, which date back to the 1400s, and a large park landscaped in the 18th and 19th centuries.
