KEEN walkers are being reminded that there are still a few places up for grabs on the 31-mile dawn 'til dusk Worcestershire Way Walk next month.
The event, on Friday, June 8, has become a fixed favourite attracting walkers from all over the country.
Already more than 150 places have been snapped up by intrepid walkers keen to join the sponsored walk, which includes rest stops, from Bewdley through to the Malvern Hills.
The event is organised by St Richard's Hospice and in the two years since it started walkers have raised £60,000 for the charity's work caring for patients and families living with cancer and other life-threatening illness.
Organiser Tricia Cavell said: "We've had enormous interest from keen walkers who will revel in this opportunity to explore one of the best routes in Britain.
"There are still a few places left so if anyone would like to join us, please get in touch on 01905 763963 ext 232 or e-mail tcavell@strichards .org.uk."
Once registered, walkers will be sent a free copy of the official Worcestershire Way walkers' guide and sponsorship details.
