A 16-YEAR-old boy has gone missing from home.
Wayne Johnson went missing on the evening of Friday, April 27, when he was last sighted at a snooker hall in Hereford centre.
He has not since returned to or made contact with his home in Hereford.
The teenager is thought to have since travelled to the Black Country, where he was born and still has strong local connections.
Police believe Wayne may now be in the Dudley, Tipton or Chelmsley Wood areas and are keen to make contact with him to ensure he is safe and well.
Wayne is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall and of slight build. He has cropped spiky brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing a grey Nike tracksuit top and bottoms when he went missing.
He may also be wearing a yellow metal bracelet.
Officers are urging Wayne to make contact with them so that they can establish that he is not in any danger. They would also like to hear from anyone who believes they have seen Wayne or have information about his current whereabouts.
They are asked to contact the duty sergeant at Hereford police station on 08457 444888.
