A £25,000 haul of stolen property has been recovered from a field near Evesham.
The items, which included a trailer containing scrap metal and cable, two go-karts, two large tool boxes, a welder, jacks and garden equipment, were removed from the site in Cleeve Prior, between 11.15am and 3.15pm on Wednesday, following the burglary of a storage unit at RAF Little Rissington in Gloucestershire.
A spokesman for south Worcestershire police, who worked with Gloucester-shire police in the joint operation, said: "Every item stolen in Gloucestershire was recovered in Worcester-shire only a few hours later, almost certainly completely disrupting the perpetrators' probable intentions to sell them on as quickly as possible for a profit."
He said that officers would continue to work together as the inquiry continues.
