SEXY spectacle wearers in Worcester are being invited to join a search for Britain's best-dressed face.
Opticians Specsavers has launched its 2007 Spectacle Wearer of the Year contest, which is open to men and women aged 16 to 30 who wear glasses, either because they have to or as a fashion accessory.
Alan Richards, store director at Specsavers in Worcester, said: "This competition is a fantastic opportunity for gorgeous young specs wearers to shine and show that wearing glasses can be more than just an optical necessity.
"We will be donating £1 for every eligible entry to Diabetes UK and want to receive as many entries as possible.
"So if you think you've got an eye-catching look or want to nominated someone who has, pick up an entry form from our store. It could be your chance to launch a whole new career, win an amazing holiday and help a worthwhile cause at the same time."
The lucky winner will scoop a year's modelling contract with London agency MOT and a two-week all-inclusive holiday for two in Barbados, plus a host of other goodies.
Regional finals will be held throughout August and the competition will culminate in a star-studded awards evening at London's Waldorf Hilton Hotel on Tuesday, October 9.
All entries must be received by Monday, June 4, and entry forms can be obtained from any Specsavers store or by logging on to www.spec savers.co.uk/awards
