THE passion of the Argentine tango is being unleashed in Pershore.
Subitango, at the Number 8 Community Arts Centre next month, is performed by the UK's leading tango dancers Kicca and Giraldo.The breathtaking show combines live music and stunning choreography that aims to bring to life the history and development of the sensual dance.
Kicca and Giraldo studied in Buenos Aires and have performed extensively throughout Europe and Latin America. Kicca's previous work has included dancing with Take That on their 2006 sell-out Ultimate Tour, the 2004 tour of Maria de Buenos Aires and the Arte Latino Cultural Project.
Giraldo has danced at the Tango World Summit in Uruguay and has performed with the acclaimed Bolivian music group Rumillajta, Arte Latino Cultural Project and Danza Colombia! Tickets, priced £10.50, are available from the Number 8 box office on 01386 555488 or on the door.
