VISITORS to Worcester Woods Country Park can see the latest feathery goings on by looking through its nest cam.
The camera, which has been spying on a nest at the countryside centre since March, has captured frequent visits by both blue tits and great tits.
The visits have left staff confused as to which species actually laid the seven eggs.
Rob Stevenson, Worcester Woods Country Park sites officer, said: "There's been a crusade between these two species to see which one successfully claims the nest.
"We now eagerly wait to see this mystery unfold and determine whether the eggs are of one species or even both. I hope visitors will enjoy the fascinating insight into the private lives of these little birds."
Visitors have been able to observe the birds building their nest, laying eggs and experiencing the egg incubation.
