TWO cyclists from Worcestershire plan to go the extra mile to raise funds for a children's charity.
Mark Griffiths, of Whitewood Close, Whittington, Worcester, and 41-year-old Mark Sorrell, of Birch Avenue, Tolladine, Worcester, plan to cycle 991 miles from Land's End to John O' Groats to raise £5,000 for the NSPCC - a charity dedicated to protecting children.
Mr Griffiths, aged 38, said: "We are hoping to complete the ride in 19 days. We were inspired to fund-raise for the NSPCC after reading a report which highlighted the plight of children in the UK."
The pair hope to embark on the challenge on Friday, May 25.
