THE village hall was well filled with members on April 10 and Ruth Bottomley, chairman, introduced Anna Brian, the guest speaker.
Anna's theme was hanging baskets and she quickly demonstrated to us her expertise in and her familiarity with their assembly. In fact she fired up many of us to resolve to start on our own empty baskets waiting at home.
The flower of the month was Gladys Lewis's tulip.
This month's meeting is tonight, Tuesday, May 8, at 7.30pm in the village hall when the speaker will be Lynn Green. There will be a plant stall - bring and buy. We welcome visitors and prospective new members - just come along and enjoy the flowers and friendship.
