WALKERS in Worcestershire are being asked to put their best foot forward and take part in a special festival.
The Tenbury Wells and Teme Valley Walking Festival, organised by the county council and Malvern Hills District Council, will be supported by Wycheway Country Walks.
Places are limited for the walk on Saturday, May 12, and Sunday, May 13, where walkers will be able to enjoy free walks of varying lengths and difficulties.
Vicky Powell, the county council's countryside access development officer, said: "We are really pleased with the amount of interest already shown in this year's festival. Places are booking up fast, so to avoid disappointment, we recommend people book themselves a place now before they are all snapped up."
Live entertainment will take place on Saturday, May 12. It will include a performance from local band Banjanova at 8pm at the Regal, Temem Street, Tenbury Wells.
Tickets cost £5 each.
People interested in finding out more or requesting a copy of the walking festival leaflet should call Tenbury Tourist Information Centre on 01584 810136 or e-mail enquiries@tenburywells.info
