NEIGHBOURS threw open their gardens to visitors at a village this weekend.
It was the 13th annual Eckington Flower Festival and Open Gardens.
Hundreds of people went to the village, near Pershore, to visit the church and private gardens that were open to the public for one weekend only. Organisers hope to top last year's total of £10,000 raised for Holy Trinity church funds.
Joan Green, flower arrangement co-ordinator, said: "The flowers just look beautiful. On just one day at church on Saturday we managed to make £1,500 from the sales of programmes. So we did have quite a few people through the doors."
This year's theme, Hats Galore, had the flower arrangers creating many colourful displays, including a fire hat, top hat and a remembrance day arrangement.
Today a display of vintage and classic cars, a motorbike display and maypole dancing was taking place.
Live music was being played throughout the village, including tunes from the Morning Dew folk duo - regular visitors to the festival who were wandering around in costume playing traditional music.
