THE names of all the car dealerships which are taking part in this year's Worcester Motorshow have been announced.
Some of the biggest car manufacturers will show off their latest models on the city's streets on Saturday, May 19.
The event will be the first of its kind, bringing the car showroom to the high street. It will give people the chance to see about 40 of the latest cars dealerships have to offer.
The day runs from 9am to 5pm in the High Street, Crowngate and Cathedral Plaza shopping centres.
Dealerships showing their cars include Bicknells Vauxhall; Brooklyn Ford and Toyota; City and County Suzuki and Dodge; Edwards Daihatsu, Kia, Mazda and Mitsubishi; Hatfields Jaguar Worcester; Johnsons Volvo; Lexus of Worcester; Mercedes-Benz of Worcester; Robert Stern BMW and Mini; Startin Honda and Skoda; St Peter's Peugeot and Warwickshire Proton and Ssangyong.
Ben Winslow of Startin Skoda said taking part in the show would coincide with the launch of the new generation Fabia.
Meanwhile Felicity Wann, of Robert Stern BMW and Mini, said taking part in the show was an exciting opportunity.
VisitWorcester's Georgia Smith, who came up with the idea with help from the Worcester News, said she is excited about the event.
And Sara Matthews, events manager for the News, said she hoped the show would get a great response from shoppers. For more details call Mrs Matthews on 01905 742220.
