HOW to go green will be the advice at the Croome Park's spring fair this weekend.

As part of the two-day event, children will be able to learn about recycling through craft activities and families can work out their eco-footprint.

Groups such as the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, Flights Orchard Organics, Worcestershire Beekeepers and Master Composters will hold demonstrations and give advice.

People who visit the 18th century park near Worcester on Sunday, May 6, and Monday, May 7, will also be able to buy plants, including those original to the park, and pick up gardening tips.

On Sunday, plant expert Dr Stephen Reynolds will hold a plant problem advice desk to diagnose pests, diseases and disorders of garden and glasshouse plants.

Then at 3pm on Sunday people can learn about worm composting and gardening for wildlife from Herefordshire-based experts Wiggly Wigglers.

Visitors to the fair can also see a travelling poster exhibition highlighting the effects of climate change which is currently being displayed at the park.
