A barbecue and charity auction will provide the platform to hopefully raising a substantial sum of money for an orphange in Thailand.
Members of Worcestershire Cricket Club will be at Ombersley Cricket Club on Saturday evening to welcome their new overseas player Simon Mason from Australia.
The event is the idea of Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College pupil Charlie Barrett, who is joining a group of fellow students in visiting the Pattaya Orpanage in Thailand later this month.
To help raise as much money as possible there will be many donated items, including a Freddie Flintoff signed cricket bat, Worcestershire Cricket Club signed bat and a signed football by the players of West Bromwich Albion.
Charlie's mother Fiona Barrett said: "We are hoping as many people as possible turn up to the evening. We are looking forward to it."
Local auctioneer Richard Wood will start the bidding at 9pm, with the barbecue beforehand.
