EXPECTANT mums and dads can find out valuable information about being parents at a seminar being held by Worcestershire County Council.
The Family Information Service (FIS) is holding the free advice session for anyone interested in parenthood including first-time parents, parents-to-be and people wishing to start a family or adopt a child.
Experienced mums and dads are also welcome at the event, at the Three Pears near Sixways, Worcester, on Wednesday, May 9, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
The seminar will give visitors information on childcare choices, working tax credits, childcare vouchers, flexible working and work-life balance.
People will also be encouraged to share experiences at the event.
Carol Andrew, FIS manager, said: "The aim of these sessions is to provide parents-to-be with valuable information to enable them to make fully informed decisions about childcare and returning to work."
To book a place, call the FIS helpline on 01905 790560 between 9am and 5pm.
