Tenth Battalion War Diary: Second Battalion of the Worcestershire Regiment marched over from its billets in Bethune and paraded with Tenth Battalion; a square being formed and speeches made. The Officers and men fraternised for about half an hour; the Second Battalion then left and was marched away by the bugle band of the Tenth Battalion

Warrant for Bromsgrove soldier. Charged at false pretences.
Ernest Paterson, late of 9 Stourbridge Street, Bromsgrove failed to appear at Bromsgrove Police Court on Tuesday, to answer a charge of obtaining by false pretences £15 from John Meek, West Bromwich. Mr Cox applied for a warrant for the defendant's arrest. Defendant was a sergeant in the Army, stationed at Salisbury Plain, and the summons was served to him while home on leave. The defendant sold debts.

Malvern Link trooper wounded
Trooper J Dyde of C Squadron Worcestershire Yeomanry, whose house is at Hampden Road Malvern Link is lying in the Bristol Military Hospital suffering from three wounds received on the 3rd inst at the Dardanelles. He was in a dug-out when a shell dropped. Trooper Dyde is progressing as well as can be expected.
