ONCE again the weather was very kind, providing us with a warm, but not too warm, Sunday afternoon to follow in the footsteps of Pam Bowers around Upper Arley and Trimpley.
Starting at Upper Arley, we followed the Severn Way to the reservoir and clambered up the bank to wander around the edge, enjoying the sight of the ducks and the boats.
A little wood walking followed when we went through Eyemore Wood and then back down the lane to the car park. It was a most enjoyable walk, mainly thanks to Pam, and it was enhanced by the sight and sound of three trains on the Severn Valley Railway.
Members were reminded to check their programmes for starting times of rambles as, due to members' requests, some are morning walks including the May way, starting at 10am. The date has now been put back one week to Sunday, May 20.
