THE city council has investigated the slab levels at a new housing development in the city to make sure that they are acceptable.
Enforcement officers from the Guildhall checked out a selection of slabs at the Hamilton Grange development in Bath Road, where 91 new homes are being built.
The officers were responding to complaints from nearby residents that some of the slabs were higher than others.
Officers have now produced a report saying the slab levels are acceptable, and that there is no need to ask the developer to re-do the work.
