A SPURNED man threw a brick at a car after his ex-partner refused to take him back.
Worcester Magistrates' Court were told yesterday how Lee Jauncey had gone round to his ex-partner's house on Sunday, April 15, but became angry after being physically ejected from the premises.
The 39-year-old, who gave his address as a caravan in an allotment behind Chris-tine Avenue, Upper Wick, Worcester, admitted throwing the brick at a neighbour's car in frustration.
Lesley Ashton, prosecuting, said: "The owner of the car called police to say it had been damaged - the back was dented and scratched. Officers attended and spoke to a female neighbour. She said she had been visited by her ex-partner, Jauncey, who had spent the afternoon drinking beer.
"She physically ejected him and he tried to self-harm outside her address. She took him to friends, but he followed her and became angry and agitated when she didn't want him home.
"She saw him pick up an item and throw it at her neighbour's car. He admitted throwing the brick after being arrested."
Nick Roberts, defending, said: "He's become dep-ressed. He's also living on an allotment in a caravan. He's sorry."
Magistrates gave Jauncey a £250 compensation order and ordered him to pay £70 costs.
