DAREDEVILS who want to take a dip with sharks and raise funds for charity at the same time still have a chance to sign up.

Acorns Children's Hospice is offering the chance for people to dive and swim with beasts of the deep in its two charity shark dives on Saturday, July 7, and Sunday, July 8.

Participants will meet an awe-inspiring collection of sharks. The sponsored dive will raise funds to support the work Acorns does with local life-limited children and their families.

The dive takes place at a five-star PADI National Geographic diving centre in Ellesmere Port. All participants will travel to the event in a free minibus provided by Acorns. Divers are asked to try to raise a minimum of £500, some of which will cover costs including training and all equipment. Disabled people can also apply. Under 16s must be accompanied. Closing date for entries is Friday, April 27.
