A DRIVER was punched after he shook his head at two pedestrians who had stepped out in front of his car.
The victim had been forced to brake sharply to avoid the two men as he was turning out of St Nicholas Street, in Worcester city centre.
He then carried on with his journey but when he stopped shortly afterwards at traffic lights in Shaw Street the two men tried to get into his vehicle before one of them punched him.
He escaped when the lights changed to green.
The incident happened at around 10.20pm on Saturday, April 28 in Worcester's Foregate Street.
Police are looking for the men, who were both in their early 20s.
One was between 5ft 10ins and 5ft 11ins tall with a stocky-to-fat build and a shaven head. He was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
The second was 6ft tall, of medium build with short, dark hair and wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
Police have asked anyone who saw the incident or can identify the men from the descriptions to call officers on 08457 444 888 quoting incident number 904S/280407 or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
