A CYCLIST who is starting a 2,000 mile journey from Worcester to Greece today, will keep an on-line diary of his adventures.
The Worcester News reported at the beginning of the month how Peter Bishton, of Diglis Court, Diglis, is making the mammoth trip to raise money for two charities - the Barnabus Trust and Friends of Swanirvar.
The Barnabus Trust is funding a project being organised by Mr Bishton's nephew to run an orphanage in Uganda.
Friends of Swanirvar, run by Worcester Volunteers, is aiming to set up an educational establishment in Bengal, India.
Mr Bishton, aged 58, is planning to keep a blog of his journey at www.peterbishton.
