DISABLED rail passengers are still waiting for improvements to help them get to the platform at Evesham station more easily.
Work to create a disabled access ramp was expected to start at the beginning of April but has been delayed because Network Rail needs to do a more detailed structural assessment.
Brian Clayton, secretary of the Cotswold Line Promotion Group, said: "We are still waiting, not too patiently. In spite of earlier words of encouragement, problems have been encountered and work still hasn't started. We keep hoping."
Spokesman for Network Rail Ben Herbert said: "The project is on course but one of the walls was not as structurally sound as we originally thought. It's not a massive job and the project is still going ahead."
