A CAT missing a front leg has gone missing.
We previously reported how Chris Vaughan gave two tom cats called Sesame and Fudge a home after the three-legged felines appeared in the Worcester News.
They had previously been staying at Danemere Rescue Centre, in Tibberton, near Droitwich, after being involved in road accidents.
The 30-year-old said both cats had settled in well, but after three weeks of living in Winnipeg Close, Lower Wick, Worcester, Sesame went out of the cat flap on Wednesday and has not returned since.
"It was strange because he's the one who prefers to stay close to home and likes being indoors more often," said Mr Vaughan.
"I am sure something outside triggered his disappearance. My attempts to call him on numerous drives and walks around the estate have proved fruitless so far."
Mr Vaughan said he has put up fliers near to where he lives in the hope somebody will know the whereabouts of his tabby cat.
"By now he will be very hungry and won't know where he is at all," he said.
"Although he was very settled relaxing in my garden, it's clear to me he's out of his depth beyond the garden fence.
"He has an identity collar on and is microchipped too, but unless someone takes him in he may be left wandering for days on end.
"I am really missing him and I can tell the other cat, Fudge, is pining for him."
Anybody with any information should contact Mr Vaughan on 07815 901986.
