THE body of a man who had been missing from his home in Bromyard has been recovered from a Worcestershire river.
Frederick Boucher, aged 61, was reported missing by his family when he failed to make contact or return to his Oak Close home on Monday.
Police began a search in the Knightwick area after Mr Boucher's car was found parked in the village.
Officers, including dog handlers, were involved in the search and firefighters pulled a man's body from the River Teme near to the Talbot pub shortly after 1pm yesterday.
It was later identified as Mr Boucher's.
Officers from South Worcestershire Division are now conducting an investigation into Mr Boucher's unexplained death and the Worcestershire Coroner has been informed.
