A FORMER curtain shop in Worcester's Broad Street may be turned into an office if a change of use planning application is given permission.
Worcester city councillors will decide whether the grade II listed building at number 49 can be allocated for professional or financial use at a meeting at the Guildhall today. Two letters and a petition objecting to the proposal have been sent by neighbouring units who think it could impact on the vitality and viability of the area.
However, council officers have recommended that listed building consent and planning permission are granted.
