ECO-friendly Worcestershire residents will soon have a one-stop shop for all their environmental needs in Worcester.
Worcestershire Resource Exchange, which takes non-hazardous scrap from businesses and turns it into creative projects, is moving from its base at Gregory's Mill Industrial Estate to a new home in Shrub Hill Industrial Estate.
Project co-ordinator Simon Kenton said the idea was to create more space to provide more environmental services in a one stop eco-shop for the county.
"When we were at Gregory's Mill people came to us for arts projects and DIY reasons but in future they will be able to come to us for reconditioned fridges, freezers, bikes - all sorts of things."
The exchange, which left Gregory's Bank on April 19, will re-open at its new premises on Thursday, June 9. It is hoped Dick Strawbridge, of BBC's It's Not Easy Being Green fame, will officially open the new premises once it is up and running.
