SCHOOL pupils are preparing to walk along the river Severn to raise money for charity.

On Monday, May 7, youngsters from the King's School, Worcester, King's Hawford School, Claines, bear Worcester, and King's St Alban's, Worcester, will be walking along the river from Upton-upon-Severn to Worcester.

They will be raising money for a number of charities including Acorns Children's Hospice, St Richard's Hospice, the Worcester Cathedral Appeal For Music And Light, the Romanian Challenge Appeal and Cancer Research UK.

All staff and pupils from the schools will be involved and it is hoped the event will raise more than £25,000.

Every year, the three schools hold fund-raising walks or fetes. To sponsor a pupil, call Russ Mason on 01905 721733.
