A MISSING paedophile who spent time in Worcestershire has been listed on a most wanted website.

A photograph of convicted child abuser Daniel Joslin was posted on the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop) site yesterday.

Joslin, who is described as being aged between 20 and 25, about 6ft 2in, pale with brown hair, with a two-inch scar on the right side of his forehead and possibly two front teeth missing - is being pursued by Nottinghamshire police.

The site, at www.ceop.gov.uk/wanted, was launched last November and has already led to the arrest of five missing offenders.

It is the first project to publish nationwide the details of convicted paedophiles who have failed to report to police and have disappeared.

Also on the site is John Murrell, a convicted sex offender from Friday's Acre, Droitwich, who disappeared with his wife and their three young children in 2000.

Murrell, with his wife Catherine, disappeared following his release from prison after serving one year of a two-year sentence for three counts of indecent assault and one of indecency with a nine-year-old girl.

Ceop chief executive Jim Gamble urged people to visit the website.

He said: "If you have information about the offenders' whereabouts, please come forward and tell us what you know.

"Most Wanted is going from strength to strength. Five months on, 12 million hits and five located offenders is proof it is achieving just that.

"We have been overwhelmed by the strength of support we have received, not just in the UK but throughout Europe."

Failing to fulfil requirements of the sex offenders register is an arrestable offence carrying up to five years' imprisonment.
