MEMBERS of St Peter's Parish Council have been allocated specific portfolios for the 2015 to 2016 year.
Councillor Paul Thorlby, chairman, will be responsible for the budget and employees while vice-chairman councillor Pam Clayton will lead on planning consultations and schools liaison.
Councillor Greg Rowe will be in charge of bank accounts, investments, insurance and audits; councillor Brenda Wheeler's duties include the annual parish festival and the Newslink magazine; and councillor Alan Tucker has taken on the role of grants, data protection and overseeing the village hall.
Councillor Alan Tidy will be responsible for the Area 51 play area and the parish warden scheme while councillor Ross Walker will lead on highways and police and councillor Terry Widdows will be in charge of major developments.
