STAFF beat the student team in a charity netball match which helped raise funds for multiple sclerosis sufferers.
Pershore College staff challenged students and netted a victory following a hard-fought battle.
Staff won the game with a score of 13 to 11 and also raised £50 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The stars of the game were Lee Spicer on the student team and Nigel Gould for the staff, who both gave exceptional performances.
Staff member and organiser of the match, Jeanette Green, said: "We had great fun on the day and the students are now asking for a return game. Although the staff didn't have youth on their side, they were cheered on enthusiastically from the sidelines by the cheerleaders. I would like to thank everyone for being such good sports and helping to raise money for the charity."
Further money is being raised by Sharon Edwards, another member of college staff, by way of sponsorship for running in Sunday's London Marathon. She hopes to raise over £2,000.
