A WYRE Forest charity is set to dish up plenty of food for thought at a fund-raising luncheon in Kidderminster.
The district's Cancer Research UK committee is holding the annual event at the Granary Hotel and Restaurant, Shenstone, on Wednesday, May 9.
Guest speaker Professor Lawrence Young, head of the Institute for Cancer Studies at Birmingham University, will talk about work being carried out to find cures and treatments for a variety of cancers.
Wyre Forest Cancer Research UK Committee chairman Peter Tomlinson said: "The luncheon is one of our most popular fund-raisers of the year and is a most pleasant and interesting event.
"The menu is excellent, the surroundings delightful and Prof Young is a tremendous speaker."
Tickets cost £16.50 and are available by ringing 01299 250205 or 01562 823825.
