TEN thousand dogs will descend on Worcestershire next weekend.
The West of England Ladies' Kennel Society will hold its annual championship dog show at the Three Counties showground in Malvern, between Friday, April 27, and Sunday, April 29.
Dogs from throughout the country will go head-to-head to win a champion title.
This is the first general Championship Show of its kind to split the working and pastoral groups to separate days.
The working group will be held on Sunday, alongside the hound and terrier groups. Pastoral and utility groups will be shown on Saturday, while the gundog and toy groups will be on Friday.
Members of the public are invited to attend to watch the judges make their difficult decisions and see the champion dogs awarded their titles.
There will also be a number of trade stands selling a variety of gifts for canines and humans alike.
Car parking is free and admission to the show costs £4.
