SIR - I noticed a letter in the Worcester News (Letters, April 14) about a young mother who took her baby to see one of the doctors at Spring Gardens. While leaving the car for about 10 minutes, it was clamped.

It appears one of the clampers was already there and ready to pounce.

Something should be done. We have to put a stop to these clampers - they have got too big for there boots.

It has got out of hand and they are always out to get the motorist to use it is all a big scheme to make money.

It's no wonder people are leaving this country and going abroad.

Its time to clamp the clampers. Enough is enough.

JOYCE ROSE, Worcester.
